What Does Witalias Cost?

Your first successful own-document export is free with an email-verified account. Witalias Monthly is 4,99 € per month, including applicable taxes, for 100 documents per paid billing period. Check the billing page for subscription availability. The free document never starts a subscription.

Does My Document Leave My Device?

The document workspace processes your PDF locally in your browser. It does not send document contents, filenames, detected details or replacement mappings to a server. The engine and fonts are served as application assets. Downloading the protected copy is your choice; sharing it with an AI service is a separate step.

Will My PDF Still Look Like My PDF?

For supported text-based PDFs, Witalias edits selected regions in place. Page dimensions, tables and the surrounding content retain their positions. Replacement labels can use a different font. You review the final file before downloading. Scanned PDFs and editable Word files are not supported in this first release.

Is This The Same As Drawing A Black Box?

No. Witalias applies PDF redactions to remove underlying selected content, then writes a fresh document. It also removes annotations, links, original metadata and embedded attachments. Selected text and page dimensions are checked again after export.

Can It Find Every Private Detail?

No automated detector can promise that. This release uses local patterns and contextual rules for common details, including email addresses, phone numbers and names in supported contexts. Review every page, add custom terms and draw manual removal areas. Images and contextual clues need your attention.

Does It Work With My AI Assistant?

You can download a protected PDF and attach it to any service that accepts that file. Witalias is independent and is not endorsed by an AI provider. This release does not access your chats, manage your account, or automatically replace files already uploaded.

What Happens To Names I Replace?

A name can become Person A throughout the document, so relationships stay understandable. The original-to-label mapping stays in the active local session and is never included in the exported PDF. Replacing identifiers does not guarantee that the remaining context is anonymous.

Is Witalias Available In The Chrome Web Store?

The Chrome extension will be released separately. You can use the same local document privacy service on this website with your Witalias account.
